Arrival and Dismissal Reminders
As we begin the school year, please review the arrival and dismissal procedures below. These routines will help us keep students safe and ensure a smooth start and end to each day.
Arrival
Bus Riders and Day Care Vans
- Students in Grades 3–6 will enter through the cafeteria and get breakfast.
- Students in PreK–Grade 2 will enter through the new main entrance (Door 1) and pick up breakfast on the way to class.
Walkers and Bike Riders
Arrival procedures are the same as those listed above:
- Grades 3–6 will enter through the cafeteria and get breakfast.
- PreK–Grade 2 will enter through the new Door 1 and pick up breakfast on the way to class.
Kiss and Ride
All Kiss and Ride students will enter through the Kiss and Ride doors.
- PreK–Grade 2 students will get breakfast and go to class.
- Grades 3–6 students will go to the cafeteria to get breakfast.
Beyond the Bell
Beyond the Bell, formerly known as SACC, will follow these procedures:
- PreK–Grade 2 students will go to the breakfast station near the library.
- Grades 3–6 students will go to the cafeteria to get breakfast.
Dismissal
Walkers and Bike Riders
- Broncoville walkers and bike riders will exit through the cafeteria doors.
- Students in Grades 1–2 will exit through the new main entrance (door 1).
- PreK and kindergarten walkers will be met by their grown-up at the new door. Please walk down the new sidewalk, where you will see orange fencing and a new overhang above the door.
- Siblings waiting for a PreK or kindergarten student should make a plan to meet somewhere that will not cause congestion.
Bus Riders
As buses arrive, students will be called to the front of the building.
- Grades 3–6 will exit through the cafeteria.
- Grades 1–2 will exit through the door near the new main office, door 1.
- PreK and kindergarten students will be escorted to their buses by a staff member through the door near the main office, door 1.
Kiss and Ride
All Kiss and Ride students will enter through the Kiss and Ride doors.
- Grades 3–6 students will wait in the library until their number is called.
- Grades 1–2 students will wait in their classrooms until their number is displayed.
- PreK and kindergarten students will be escorted to the library by a staff member and dismissed when their number is called.
Day Care Vans
- When called, students will report to the cafeteria.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we establish these routines in our renovated building. Staff members will be stationed throughout the building to assist students and families.
