Principal's Message |
Greetings Tiger Families!
10 days until the first day of school - wow! As we continue to prepare for our students’ return on August 24th, I want to share (or re-share if you are a returning Tiger) with you our continued dedication to our Twain Collective Commitments - to ourselves, our students, and our families.
At Twain, we emphasize the importance of taking care of ourselves, each other, and our school every day. One way we do that is by remaining committed to partnering together as a school community made up of educators, students, and families. All of the Collective Commitments captured below are relevant regardless of your role at Twain, but there are a few that are particularly important to emphasize between school and home. We are committed to making sure our communication is positive and professional – whether that be in person, on the phone, or in writing. If we do not meet that standard, please let me know. We also look forward to partnering with families to foster a supportive and welcoming middle school experience. Our time with our students and families can be brief, with only a 2-year middle school experience. However, we endeavor to make sure that these two years are positive and fruitful for all Tigers. I look forward to making sure all students and adults within our community feel welcomed and supported. Please never hesitate to reach out with any questions, suggestions, concerns, or kudos when you have them. We are here to make sure each Tiger’s time at Twain is one they enjoy and thrive in.
I look forward to seeing many of you on August 19th for Tiger Fest! Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Matt
