Summer Updates from GBE
We're getting closer to the start of another amazing school year, and the excitement is building at Greenbriar East! In this newsletter, you'll find information about upcoming back-to-school events, including our Summer Block Party and the Chantilly Pyramid Magic School Bus, as well as important dates to add to your calendar. Summer Block Party & Magic School Bus - Thursday, August 13
On Thursday, August 13, from 4:00 to 4:20 p.m., the Chantilly Pyramid Magic School Bus will stop at the Greenbriar Pool parking lot to help families get ready for the new school year. Visit the Greenbriar East table to pick up free school supplies and to say hello to our GBE administrators.
After visiting the Magic School Bus, head over to our playground for our Summer Block Party! Reconnect with friends, meet new families, and spend time with our amazing PTA as we celebrate the start of another school year. Enjoy music from a DJ, food and drinks, and stick around for a community kickball game to wrap up the evening. We can't wait to see our community together again!
Kindergarten Registration
Do you have an incoming kindergarten student, or know someone who does? Kindergarten registration is still open! Registering early helps us plan for the new school year and ensures a smooth start for your family.
You can pick up enrollment forms in the front office. If you need help, our Registrar, Ms. Nunez, is happy to assist you. You can also email her at anunez@fcps.edu.
