- We look forward to meeting rising kindergarten families and families new to Bonnie Brae during our Popsicles on the Playground event on our playground on the baseball field!
Back to School Events & Important Information

New Student Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year
To plan for staffing to support your child, we request that you begin the registration process as soon as possible.
Online Kindergarten and new student registration is available.

Eligibility: A child who will be age 5 on or before September 30, 2026. (Children born after September 30, 2021 are ineligible to attend kindergarten for the upcoming school year.)
New ParentVUE Mobile App Launching July 28
On Tuesday, July 28, a new ParentVUE mobile app will become available in the Apple and Google app stores. This new app provides parents and caregivers with a more secure sign-in. The current “classic” app will remain active for about six months. Families must download the new app by December 2026 to ensure they have continued mobile access to their child’s school data.
In the new app, families can enroll in multi-factor authentication (MFA) for FCPS Single Sign-On. While enrollment is optional, we strongly recommend that everyone enable this security feature.

Bonnie Brae Parents — This One's Just for You!
The kids have had their fun all summer — now it's your turn! The PTO invites you to an adults-only night of fun, games, and good company. Leave the kids at home and join us for bunco!
Where: Fairfax Club Estates Pool
When: Friday, August 7, 5-8 PM
Bunco is fast-paced, easy to learn, and the perfect excuse to meet other Bonnie Brae families (and enjoy a grown-up evening out). No experience needed — just bring yourself and a willingness to roll the dice!
