Dear Families,
Families new to Marshall Road ES are welcome to join us tomorrow at 3:00 pm or August 6 at 9:00 am for a tour of the school followed by a playdate on the playground with popsicles provided by the PTA. If you are unable to attend one of the tours, you will have a chance to visit the school for our Open House on Friday, August 21 at 9:00 am.

School Events and Information
Kindergarten Registration
Do you have a kindergartener who is not yet registered or know someone who does? If so, please email our registrar Shelly Koshuta at mmarcumkoshu@fcps.edu or call the school office at 703-937-1500. We held our Kindergarten Orientation in May and completed a simple assessment to see what strengths students are bringing to kindergarten. If you were unable to attend in the spring, please consider joining us on August 6th for this assessment. Details in flyers. English Spanish

Student Online Verification/Update (OVU)
The 2026–27 Online Verification/Update (OVU) packet is available in ParentVUE. The OVU packet allows parents to electronically update phone numbers, emergency contacts, health conditions, and upload immunization records for their students. If you have not already done so, please sign up for a ParentVUE account so you can have direct access to student information.

School Supplies
School supply lists can be found on our school website. Supplies can be brought to classrooms during Open House or on the first day of school. Supplies ordered through the PTA will be delivered to classrooms prior to the first day of school.
