Dear Roadrunner Families,
We hope you are all having a safe, restful, and wonderfully fun summer! While our hallways are quiet during these warmer months, we are already busy preparing for another fantastic school year ahead.
We want to make sure your students have everything they need to stay engaged, as well as highlight some key dates where we can reconnect before the school year officially begins!

Popsicles on the Playground:
- July 28th ** NEW TIME 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM due to heat advisory.
New Family Orientation (Grades 1–6):
- July 29th from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Kindergarten Playdate:
- July 29th from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Mark your Calendars! Upcoming Summer Events
We are so excited to welcome our returning families back and greet our newest Roadrunners! To help everyone gear up for the new school year, catch up with old friends, and make some new ones, we have a few fun events lined up for late July.
Popsicles on the Playground for All Students
*TIME CHANGE July 28th - 10:00 - 11:00 AM due to heat advisory
Come and join us on the playground to catch up with old friends and meet new friends with some popsicles to help cool us off in this heat!
New Family Orientation
Our new Little Run students and families in grades 1-6 are invited to join us for a new family orientation on July 29th at 9:00 AM in our cafeteria. Please enter through Door 1 when you arrive. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the Little Run family!
Kindergarten Playdate
Our kindergarteners and families are invited to come out to play and get a chance to go on a school bus on July 29th at 2:00 PM. This is a fantastic opportunity for our new kindergartners and parents to get to know one another.
Summer Learning Resources
Check out some summer learning resources that families can access! Additional resources will be added through the month of June to help families review concepts, practice skills, or explore new ideas at home.
Resources are organized by grade level and aligned to the learning students experienced during the school year.
School Supply Kits
2026-27 Little Run Elementary School Supply Kits on SALE now
Dear Parents,
Great news! We are offering a school supply kit program, so there’s no need to head to the store. Supply orders include the exact colors, quantities, and brands your teachers have approved for class. Get your Back to School shopping taken care of with one easy kit!
Kits will be delivered to the school prior to the back to school orientation in August.
