Dear Chesterbrook Families,
I am excited to have our first kinder playdate tonight at 5:30PM. I look forward to reconnecting with you all if you joined us for kinder orientation or you have older children at Chesterbrook. It brings me great joy to welcome our new families and for your child(ren) to join our classes this August. You are part of a great community where parents are our partners in their child's education and we want to ensure you feel comfortable as your kindergarten child joins us. It will be a wonderful transition! Your child's joy is our joy and their success is our success! I look forward to seeing you this evening.
Last week I had the chance to visit our Summer Quest staff and students at Franklin Sherman. It was wonderful to ask the kids about their camps and all they are learning. From sports, sewing, art, cooking, music, Harry Potter, Disney Princess, academic readiness as they step into the next grade and so much more, all of our students were highly engaged and happy to be at camp with our staff. I cannot thank our teachers enough for all the hours of planning and time they give to this fabulous program and a special thanks once again to Mrs. Hamsher-King for leading the work and Mrs. Remer for managing the office and loving on our students when they may not be feeling well or need a hug. Our teachers truly have a special touch and our students are amazing! The visit to see them all brought me so much joy and I look forward to filling our halls very soon!
