Floris Main Office Summer Hours
Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm
Hello Floris Families,
I hope you and your family are having a wonderful summer! While our students and staff have been enjoying some well-deserved time to recharge, there has been a lot of exciting work happening behind the scenes as we prepare to welcome everyone back for the new school year.
Here are a few updates:
-
Our parking lot is getting a fresh new look! This week, the parking lot is being repaved and restriped to improve traffic flow and enhance safety for everyone.
-
Preparing our building for growth. We are reallocating spaces throughout the building to create additional classrooms and offices for our resource teachers.
-
Our hiring is complete! I am excited to share that we have successfully hired all of the additional teachers needed as a result of the boundary adjustments. We are thrilled with the talented educators joining the Floris family. Over the coming weeks, I will introduce these new staff members and share the grade levels they will be teaching.
I know many families are also wondering about classroom placements. I will communicate classroom placements during the second week of August, prior to Open House.
There is a great deal of excitement and preparation happening at Floris, and we can't wait to welcome our students back. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon!
Sincerely,
Joshua DeSmyter, Principal
