Good morning,
I'm pleased to announce that our 2026-2027 Course Catalog is now printed and delivering to homes, schools, libraries, community centers, and other locations throughout Fairfax County!
Be sure to explore it for a wide range of upcoming career training and personal enrichment classes. Keep it handy throughout the year as it contains valuable information about affordable education for every stage of life.
You never know when you may be ready to advance your career, learn a new skill, or discover a new interest.
For our students and partners outside of the Fairfax County, VA mailing area, you can find all of these courses and more on our website at www.fcpsace.org. Local and non-local students alike should bookmark our site to find all of our most current information.
Our programs continue to grow, with new classes added regularly. In fact, additional courses have already been added since the catalog went to print, so be sure to visit our website often!
In other important news:
- I want to remind interested students that the application deadline for a $1,000 Trades Scholarship is August 15, 2026. Applications for this scholarship cannot be accepted after that date, though other types of financial aid are available for eligible students in all career programs.
- Fall Apprenticeship Classes are now enrolling for Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing. Classes begin the week of September 8 and fill quickly, so I urge you to register as soon as possible.
- Adult English Language (ESOL) classes also begin in early September, with placement testing scheduled for late August. Be sure to check the schedule and attend testing at the location and time you want to take your class.
For most of us, fall has always meant back-to-school time -- and learning doesn't stop now that we're adults!
Whether you want to advance your career, strengthen your skills, or pursue a personal interest, FCPS ACE offers affordable and convenient opportunities to keep learning and growing.
I look forward to learning with you this year!
