Only for Students in grades: Kindergarten-5th
Dismissal at 1:00 PM:
- October 21

We encourage all parents/caregivers to have their student take their normal route home (bus, walk, kiss and ride) on early dismissal days. SACC after-school care will remain available as an option.

Students will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. (a two-hour early release) on the last day of each quarter on the following dates:
- October 30
- January 28
- April 16
- June 16
All students will be dismissed at this time on these dates. Please note that Beech Tree will not provide after-school supervision on two-hour early release days; however, SACC after-school care will remain available as an option.

Summer Resources Help Students Stay Curious, Healthy and Busy!
FCPS Summer Learning Resources are now available for students and families. Resources are organized by grade level and provide opportunities for students to review previously taught concepts, practice skills, and explore new ideas throughout the summer.
Families can access the resources at any time as one of many ways to support continued learning and engagement over the summer.
Summer Meals for Students
Starting Monday, June 22, no-cost meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis at the sites and times listed on the FCPS Summer Food Service Program webpage. Students must remain on site while eating their meals.
This year, thanks to generous support from Educate Fairfax, families may also receive one no-cost breakfast and lunch per adult at the following elementary schools: Braddock, Dogwood, Glen Forest, Hutchison, Hybla Valley, and London Towne.
Summer sites will continue to be added, so please check the Summer Food webpage regularly for updates.
