Dear Cherry Run Families,
It is my pleasure to announce that Mr. David Arthur has been selected as the next Assistant Principal of Cherry Run Elementary School.
Many of you have already had the opportunity to meet Mr. Arthur during his time as our Acting Assistant Principal this spring. He quickly became a valued member of our school community, building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while providing steady leadership and support.
Mr. Arthur brings more than 30 years of educational experience in Fairfax County Public Schools as a teacher, instructional leader, and administrator. His expertise in instructional leadership, school operations, and student support, combined with his collaborative leadership style and commitment to fostering a positive school culture, make him an excellent fit for Cherry Run.
