Stronger Together
Dear Clearview Families,
As we close out another wonderful school year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make it such a success. To our teachers, staff, caregivers, families, and community partners, thank you for your dedication, support, and hard work on behalf of our students. Because of your care and commitment, our students have grown, learned, and achieved so much this year.
We also want to wish our exiting 6th graders the very best as they move on to middle school. We know they will do great things, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished at Clearview.
We hope everyone enjoys a safe, happy, and restful summer with time to relax, recharge, and make special memories with family and friends.
See you all in August!
Warmly,
Stephanie Almquist Joshua Redford Rachel Charlton

Language Arts Summer Learning: Magazines, Weekly Plans, Activities, and More
We will be sending students home with two Benchmark magazines to help students practice their reading and writing skills during the summer. You will also receive a letter from Clearview with weekly learning plans and activities. We encourage families to encourage reading and writing during summer break, so that students can start strong next school year. Find more ways to support your child's literacy skills on FCPS’ Summer Learning Resources webpage.
All students in grades K-5 have received a Summer Reading BINGO card. Every student that makes BINGO (across, up & down, or diagonal) will receive a prize when school begins in August. Every student that fills the ENTIRE board will receive three prizes!
ALL completed BINGO cards should be signed by an adult and sent to school by Friday, August 28. Don’t worry if you lose your BINGO card, you can find it on the CVES website!
The Summer Reading Adventure starts June 17 and runs through August 19. This year's theme is Unearth a Story. Remember, Summer Reading is for EVERYONE. (Yes, adults too!) Summer Reading Video 2026
📝Summer Learning Resources for Families
Instructional Services is supporting student learning over the summer. Digital and print resources are being curated on the Summer Learning Resources webpage for students and families to review and practice previously taught content throughout the summer months.
Resources are organized by grade level and aligned to the learning students experienced during the school year. Families can access the materials at any time to review concepts, practice skills, or explore new ideas at home. Additional resources will continue to be added throughout June.
