Dear Freedom Hill Families,
As we wrap up another memorable school year and head into summer, we want to thank you for your support, partnership, and engagement throughout the year. Working together, we helped our Eagles thrive, and it has been wonderful to see their growth both academically and socially. We set out to "Do Hard Things!", and we sure did! Thank you for entrusting us with your incredible children.
We are also excited to share the 2025-26 Freedom Hill Year-End Report. This report highlights many of our students' accomplishments, celebrates new initiatives and programs, and provides a look ahead at our goals for the coming year. This year we exceeded our expected growth data in reading, math, and science, saw absenteeism drop for the 4th straight year, and celebrated some of our highest-ever growth in multi-lingual student progress. In a highlight from the FCPS Family Engagement Survey that makes our particularly proud, 98% of our families shared that Freedom Hill "feels like a place where my child belongs". This is significantly higher than the division average. We are so grateful for the staff, families, and students who make this environment a reality each day.
As you settle into summer, please take a moment to note the important dates below, and follow us on Instagram for some summer fun. Thank you for helping make this another exceptional year at Freedom Hill. We wish your family a wonderful summer and look forward to welcoming everyone back soon!
