Per VDOE guidelines, all meals must be eaten on site, and all meal participants, including community members, must go through the food service line or point of service.
Finally, please note that no meals will be served on June 18-19, or July 3, due to FCPS-recognized holidays.
Instructional Services is supporting student learning over the summer. Digital and print resources are being curated on the Summer Learning Resources webpage for students and families to review and practice previously taught content throughout the summer months.
Resources are organized by grade level and aligned to the learning students experienced during the school year. Families can access the materials at any time to review concepts, practice skills, or explore new ideas at home. Additional resources will continue to be added throughout June.
Schools are requested to share the Summer Learning Resources webpage with families on their school website and newsletter as a resource to support summer learning and engagement.
Please make sure that any FCPS-issued laptop, charger, or MiFi device currently at home is returned to Glasgow as soon as possbile.
Families will be charged for any school-issued devices that are not returned. Please submit payments in advance if you know devices are damaged or missing. Payments can be made through myschoolbucks or by bringing cash or a check to the Glasgow main office. Does your child need to have medication at summer programs?
Unless otherwise noted, Medication Authorization forms used during the 2025-2026 school year may be used for this year's summer programs. A parent/guardian will still need to pick up the medication and copy of the completed forms by the last day of school, then deliver them to the summer learning site on the first day of the summer program.
Medication and forms must be dropped off by a parent/guardian. For prescription medication, only a 30-day supply or less can be accepted. For over-the-counter medication, only an un-opened bottle of a 30-day supply or less can be accepted. Please check the expiration date of all medication before drop-off.
If your child needs medication for the summer program but did not have medication at school this year, please see the forms attached (there is a form for inhalers, a form for epinephrine, and form for all other medications). If you have any questions, please reach out to Public Health Nurse (PHN), Mariae Beck, BSN, RN, NCSN at mbeck@fcps.edu.
