A Note from your BES Administration

Dear Belvedere Families,

As we close out another incredible school year, we want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership, support, and trust throughout the year. Together, we have celebrated successes, overcome challenges, and watched our students grow in so many ways—academically, socially, emotionally, and as caring members of our community.

We are incredibly proud of all that our students have accomplished this year. Their hard work, perseverance, curiosity, and kindness have made Belvedere a wonderful place to learn and grow.

To our students moving on to middle school, we wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter. We know you are ready for the opportunities ahead and will continue to do great things.

To the students and families who will be attending a different school next year, thank you for being part of the Belvedere family. You will be missed, and we wish you happiness and success wherever your journey takes you.

To our returning Bulldogs, we hope you have a fun, relaxing, and memorable summer filled with adventures, laughter, and time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming you back in August for another fantastic year of learning and growth.

Thank you again for making this school year so special. We are grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community.

Your Belvedere Admin Team

Cecilia Vanderhye, Kelly Cabezas, and Tara Boone

☀️☎️Summer Office Hours

The Belvedere Elementary School office will be open for the summer Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

💚Green Flag School

We are thrilled to announce that Belvedere has once again earned recognition as a Green Flag School—the highest honor in the National Wildlife Federation’s EcoSchools U.S. program.

This achievement reflects our school-wide commitment to hands-on environmental stewardship. From raising trout and composting to designing rain gardens and hosting our Outdoor Day of Service, our students are truly making a difference.

Thank you to our wonderful students, teachers, and staff who make environmental learning and action a part of daily life at Belvedere

🎓5th Grade Promotion Ceremony

5th Grade student speaker at Graduation

Today, we proudly celebrated our fifth grade students as they completed their elementary school journey and prepared for the exciting transition to middle school. Surrounded by family, friends, and staff, our graduates reflected on their accomplishments, shared memories, and looked ahead to the opportunities that await them.

A highlight of the ceremony was hearing from our student speaker, who delivered thoughtful and inspiring message about time management. Her words captured the spirit of the Class of 2026 and reminded us of the incredible impact they have made on our school community.

We are so proud of each and every one of our fifth graders and wish them continued success as they begin this next chapter. Congratulations, graduates, and have a wonderful summer!

Signing up for a SIS ParentVUE account helps you to support your child’s academic success! Caregivers can view important information like attendance, grades, progress reports, and assessment scores through ParentVUE.

Once you have activated a ParentVUE account for an FCPS student, you will keep the same account until the student graduates. Information about students in the same family can be accessed through the same ParentVUE account. It is available online and as a mobile app for Apple and Android devices.

Need help creating a SIS ParentVue account? This video walks through the steps. Find out more about SIS ParentVUE.

If you already have an account, be sure your contact information is up to date. Parents/guardians can update their phone numbers or email addresses in the Parent/Guardian section. View additional details about ParentVUE.
