Teamwork makes the dream work - even on the very last day of school! We had our final house meeting this morning. Watching our students collaborate, problem-solve, and cheer each other on was the perfect grand finale to a wonderful year!

Dear Roadrunner Families,
We have officially crossed the finish line of the 2025-2026 school year! It is hard to believe that another incredible year at Little Run Elementary has come to a close. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our families for your unwavering partnership, support, and dedication throughout the year. Together, we truly made this a memorable year of growth and learning for our students.
As we look back on this final week, our halls were filled with mixed emotions—excitement for the sunny days ahead, but also a little sadness as we said goodbye to our students for the season. We want to wish a very special farewell to our rising 7th graders as they move on to middle school; we know you will continue to make us proud! To all of our returning Roadrunners, thank you for making our school such a joyful place to be every single day.
Staying Connected This Summer
While the school building will be quiet for a few weeks, learning and community fun don’t have to stop! Here are a few important updates to keep in mind over the break:
Summer Learning Resources: To help keep your child's skills sharp and prevent the "summer slide," we have updated our school website with curated summer learning resources. You can find excellent reading lists, math games, and interactive activities tailored for every grade level.
Save the Date for Late July Events: Don't forget that we will be hosting special school community events at the end of July! Look below for more information on our Summer events. We can't wait to reconnect before the new school year begins.
Just a friendly reminder that our front office will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM throughout the summer for any assistance you might need.
On behalf of the entire staff at Little Run, we wish you and your loved ones a safe, restful, and wonderfully fun summer. Enjoy the sunshine, read some great books, and we look forward to welcoming you back in August!

Dear Parents,
Great news! We are offering a school supply kit program, so there’s no need to head to the store. Supply orders include the exact colors, quantities, and brands your teachers have approved for class. Get your Back to School shopping taken care of with one easy kit!
Kits will be delivered to the school prior to the back to school orientation in August.
