Students celebrate the end of another successful year at Fairfax Villa!

Small School, BIG Heart! 💓

Dear Fairfax Villa Community,

As we wrapped up another wonderful week together, we did so with mixed emotions—excitement for the summer days ahead and a bit of sadness knowing that our time together this school year is coming to an end. The final weeks of school always bring opportunities to reflect on how much our students have grown and accomplished.

This week was filled with meaningful learning experiences across our school. Students continued to engage in rigorous, hands-on math activities that challenged their thinking and strengthened their problem-solving skills. They also remained focused on their Benchmark lessons, practicing important phonics and comprehension skills that will support their continued growth as readers. We are incredibly proud of the hard work, perseverance, and dedication our students continue to demonstrate each day, even as we begin winding down the school year.

Next week brings several exciting and celebratory moments for our school community. On Monday, we will proudly celebrate our graduating sixth graders during their promotion ceremony as they prepare for the next chapter of their educational journey. Additionally, students will also have the opportunity to participate in "Chalk the Block" during Specials. This activity will provide time for students to celebrate the year together while continuing to build strong relationships and meaningful connections with their peers and staff members.

As the school year comes to a close, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your partnership and support. Your dedication to your child's academic success and social-emotional well-being does not go unnoticed. Together, we have created a caring and supportive community where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you for sharing your children with us this year. We look forward to celebrating these final moments together and finishing the year strong.

Warmly,

Ms. Textoris & Mrs. Burke
