Plays

Our 6th graders are ending their Haycock journey by bringing Shakespeare to life! Students are showcasing their creativity, collaboration, and confidence through engaging performances of Shakespearean plays this week. 🎭

Dear Haycock Families,

The promotion ceremony for our 6th graders on Friday was bittersweet. We will certainly miss this wonderful group of students, and we hope they will come back and let us know how they're doing. As we also bid farewell to many families that are leaving Haycock either because their 6th grader is their youngest child or because of a move, we thank you for your support and all that you have contributed to making Haycock such a special place during your time here.

We will continue to send out the Haycock Hello through the end of June.  Over the summer months, they will be sent out periodically when there is important information to communicate to you.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Ms. Jennifer Ganci as the Interim Principal of Haycock.  She will begin at Haycock on July 1.

It has hard to believe we have come to the last few days of this school year.  We wish all of you a safe and fun summer. Please see ideas and resources below for supporting continued reading and learning for students over the summer.

We will look forward to seeing our students and all of you back at Haycock in August.

With appreciation for your partnership,

Liz Beaty, Principal embeaty@fcps.edu
