Dear Canterbury Woods Families,
As we look ahead to our final three days of school next week, we are reflecting on what an exciting and memorable year it has been at Canterbury Woods!
This week was filled with outstanding end-of-year celebrations and showcases of student learning. Our Kindergarten students brought smiles to everyone's faces with their wonderful Songfest performance. First graders proudly shared their Animal Habitat projects, while second graders impressed us with their research presentations. Third grade students entertained us with an amazing Talent Show and demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills during throughout the week. Fourth grade enjoyed a fantastic Virginia Day, and our fifth graders showcased their creativity and problem-solving through their Tiny Home projects.
We also celebrated the year with our final Chorus Concert, highlighting the incredible talents of our student performers.
We are especially looking forward to celebrating our sixth graders at their promotion next week. We are proud of all our students and looking forward to enjoying these final days together!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Leslie Malkowski, Kristi McGeehan, and Mindy Milliron

Most scores are available in SIS ParentVUE. Visit FCPS’ website for additional information about how test results are reported to families.
Websites for each test provide report translations and help with understanding test results. Please contact our front office with any testing questions or for additional information about how our school and teachers use test results to support student success.
Calendar Survey
Calendar Survey
FCPS values your input as we plan future school calendars. On Friday, June 5, all caregivers and FCPS staff will receive an email from noreply@fcps.edu containing a unique link to complete the FCPS Calendar Survey.
Your feedback matters. Please take a few minutes to share your priorities and perspectives by Monday, June 22, at 11:59 p.m.
Your individual responses will be kept confidential and will not be shared with school staff or used in any way that identifies you or your student. Only aggregate, summary-level results will be reported to the Fairfax County School Board.
If you do not receive a link to the survey or have technical difficulties completing the survey, please contact the FCPS Office of Research and Program Evaluation.
