Dear Lake Anne Families,
As we wrap up the final full week of the 2025–2026 school year, we want to thank our students, staff, and families for a wonderful year of learning, growth, and community. It has been exciting to celebrate our students' accomplishments, and we are looking forward to ending the year on a positive note.
Please remember that school remains in session next week. Students will attend full days on Monday and Tuesday, and Wednesday, June 17, is a two-hour early release day. Attendance will continue to be taken each day, including the last day of school. We encourage all students to be present through the end of the year so they can participate in learning activities, classroom celebrations, and opportunities to connect with their classmates and teachers one last time before summer break.
Thank you for your partnership and support throughout the school year!
Warmly,
Mrs. Jill Stewart, Principal Mrs. Valencia Chenier, Assistant Principal Mrs. Leslie Grumbach, Assistant Principal

This morning, we had the joy of celebrating our 6th grade Dolphins during their promotion ceremony. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Lake Anne Elementary. Their hard work, growth, and leadership have left a lasting impact on our school community. As they take this exciting next step, we wish them continued success and can't wait to see all the amazing things their future holds!
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to recognize several valued staff members who will be leaving Lake Anne Elementary School. Some are pursuing new career opportunities, some are making changes to better support their families, and others are beginning a well-earned retirement after dedicating many years to the field of education.
While we will miss them greatly, we are grateful for the lasting impact they have made on our school community. Their dedication, care, and commitment to our students have helped make Lake Anne a special place to learn and grow.
Please join us in thanking the following staff members for their service and wishing them the very best in their next chapter:

Please Check Your Student’s Lunch Balance
It’s a busy time of year, and we know many priorities are on your plate. As we approach the end of the school year, it is important to check your student’s MySchoolBucks account and pay any remaining school meal balance.
Free and Reduced-Price Meals
Families who earn less than 185% of the poverty level qualify for free and reduced-price meals (FRM). However, an application must be completed and submitted each school year to receive that benefit. The application for the 2026-27 school year will be available this summer.
If you have a current balance and think you may be eligible for free and reduced-price meals, please fill out the FRM application for the 2025-26 school year.
