Tiger Tales
Tiger's Den
Families,
It’s our last full week of school. The 2025-2026 school year included learning, our focus on communication, and behavior and many wonderful memories. Our school community is proud to continue our focus during ESY and into the 2026-2027 school year. As we transition into our summer ESY program we are reminded of the various ways we continuously serve our families into the summer months. Our ESY program is July 6-July 30, and the hours are 7:45-10:45am. We can wait for Camp Kilmer ESY!
We wish you a great week.

Peer Mentoring for Students with Vision Impairment

This one-year virtual program, hosted by VCU’s Rehabilitation Research and Training Center in partnership with the Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI), pairs students with young professionals who share similar lived experiences. From September 2026 to May 2027, participants will engage in 6 group and 6 individual sessions to explore career pathways and build a personalized career development portfolio. If you are a high school student in the 2026-2027 school year with reliable internet access and a desire to grow, contact William Sutton at 804-659-2622 or via email at William.Sutton@dbvi.virginia.gov to learn more about joining this supportive community.
