🧥🥼🥤Lost and Found: Final Call!
Sangster's Lost & Found is overflowing with jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles and other items.
The Lost & Found will be outside the school at Door 1 Monday, June 15 - Thursday, June 18.
Any items not picked up by June 18 will be donated.

🗓️2026-2027 3-Hour Early Release Wednesdays
For the new school year, each elementary school will have a total of four 3-hour early release days throughout the school year (down from eight this previous year). Lunch will be provided on early release Wednesdays.
Three-hour early release Wednesdays for Sangster are:
- September 30, 2026
- November 18, 2026
- January 13, 2027
- April 7, 2027

🌸Spring 2026 Family Score Reports for Screening/Growth Assessments
Family score reports for spring screening and growth assessments will post to SIS ParentVUE (PVUE) Documents for most students in the coming weeks. Timing of release varies by test, as noted below. Families will receive up to three (3) reports based on the assessments their student took this spring.

🛝Popsicles on the Playground: Save the Dates
- Rising 1st and 2nd Graders: Monday, August 10, 7–8 p.m.
- Rising Kindergartners: Tuesday, August 11, 10–11 a.m. and/or 7–8 p.m. (For Kindergarten only, rain makeup date is Friday, August 14, 5–6 p.m.)
- Rising 3rd and 4th Graders: Wednesday, August 12, 7–8 p.m.
- Rising 5th and 6th Graders = Thursday, August 13, 7–8 p.m.

🥰FCPS Community Summer Support
FCPS Summer Meal Service Program 2026
Fairfax County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services will continue providing summer meals to support children and families when school is not in session. Free meals are available to all children and teens 18 years of age and younger at designated FCPS summer meal sites, regardless of income or school enrollment. Meals are served onsite at participating locations from the Monday after school lets out through the Friday before the new school year begins.
New for 2026: Educate Fairfax will fund meals for all adults at all FCPS open feeding sites, allowing families to dine together at participating locations.

Summer 2026 Inspire Immunization Events for All FCPS Students
Inspire Health Alliance, in partnership with FCPS, will be providing school-required immunizations during Summer 2026. Immunizations will be provided at no out-of-pocket cost to students or families. Registering families will be required to provide insurance information, if applicable, but students without insurance may still participate.
