Dear Families,
We hope you had a wonderful start to your week! It is so hard to believe that this is our last full week of school. The kids are still working hard, and we are so proud of everything they have accomplished this year. We also want to say thank you to all the families who supported us this year. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Please join us for our last PTA meeting on Monday, June 15th at 7pm. During this meeting, we will vote for next year’s board members. We hope you will be able to join us that evening!

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Interest Form
We are excited to gauge interest for next school year's FIRST LEGO League (FLL) season! This program is an incredible opportunity for students to dive into hands-on STEM learning, robotics, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
Please read the details below carefully before filling out the form.
Important Season Details:

Eligibility: This program is strictly open to rising 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

Limited Availability: Space is limited, so please submit your interest as soon as possible!

Estimated Cost: Registration fees are expected to be around $200 per student to cover team registration, Lego and Robotic kits, and competition fees.

Season Timeline: We plan to hit the ground running in August. The season runs through the regional competition in November.

Weekly Commitment: Teams will meet at least once a week for at least 2 hours after school.

Pre-Competition Crunch: Please note that as we get closer to the competition in November, we may need to add extra practice sessions to wrap up our projects and robot runs.

Flexible Scheduling: Our team is incredibly fortunate to be mentored by Chantilly High School Robotics Team coaches! Because they are volunteering their time, meeting dates/days may change based on the availability of our high school coaches. Flexibility is key!
FLL Interest Form
One of our first fundraisers for the upcoming school year will take place on Sunday, 9/27 at Nationals Park. The Nationals will be playing the Mets at 3pm. You can scan the QR code on the flyer below to purchase tickets.
We’ve collected almost 300 pounds of clean & dry plastic bags so far! Your child(ren) can continue bringing the bags to school & dropping it off in collection boxes that are located in the front lobby/office. If we collect a minimum of 1,000 pounds, our school can win a Trex bench!
