Hi SLES Families! The goal is to have the Family Resource Center fully stocked by the last day of school so we can start the 2026–2027 school year strong and ready to support our students and families without interruption! If you are able to and would like to, please place the donations in the red bin in the main lobby. Thank you all, always!   
Success Day
We are thrilled to invite you to Success Day, a student-driven celebration of growth, learning, and achievement. On Wednesday, June 10, from 9:30 am – 10:30 am, we will offer an end-of-year "open house" where our students take the lead in telling their own stories of success. Students will share not just what they learned, but how they’ve grown this year. Talk to your child about their plans for this day and join us to celebrate. Prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Success Day was a tradition at Stratford Landing and we’re eager to return to this wonderful tradition of celebrating learning and growth and partnership with our families. Additional details about Success Day will be shared in classroom newsletters.

This Saturday, June 6th from 9:30-11:30, We are hosting our Kids Summer Extravaganza! While mom shops for clothing we will have games and activities for the kids. We will also have other non-profits here for families to connect with as well as Loudoun Hunger Relief distributing food. This is all at no cost! Must have children to attend and we encourage them to bring their kids with them to this event, especially ages 5+.
No registration or appointment needed, but shoppers must complete and bring the form below to the event in order to shop.

Summer meals start on Monday, June 22!
School is out, summer meals are in! Fairfax County Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided, on a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times listed below. Children must remain onsite while consuming their meals.

End of the School Year Full Membership PTA Meeting/ ‘26-’27 PTA Board Elections on Tuesday, June 9th at 7pm
Come Join us for our final PTA meeting of the ‘25-’26 school year! We will be electing the ‘26-’27 PTA Board and passing a summer budget. We would love to hear about your ideas for events for the upcoming school year! We would also love to have you as a volunteer on the Board to help with events and student enrichment.
The PTA Board is currently looking for a volunteer to be the Vice President on the SLES PTA Board for '26-'27. The Vice President's role includes assisting the President with PTA events, meetings and communication. We will also have some Chair positions available next year...roles that help with planning school events, communications, volunteers, student enrichment and staff appreciation. Please email vicepresident@slpta.org if you are interested in being a part of the PTA Board next school year.
