Monday, June 1, 2026

Dear Lancer Families:
This past weekend some of our track and field athletes competed at the county championship meet at Robinson Secondary School. Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed in track this season! This week we have the last of our SOL tests for the year. We also have our final performing arts’ performances this week and our music field trip on Friday. Finally, our last PTA meeting of the year will take place on Wednesday at 6:30. This will take place in our outdoor courtyard/rain garden to highlight some recent PTA sponsored projects.

We look forward to ending the year on a positive note with exciting end-of-year activities, celebrations, and opportunities to reflect on all that has been accomplished. Thank you for your continued partnership and support—it has played an important role in making this year a success. Together, let's finish the school year strong and celebrate all that our students have achieved!

As always, I appreciate your ongoing partnership and encourage you to stay connected through our website and weekly newsletter. I hope you and your family had a wonderful long weekend.

Free and Reduced-Price Meals

Families who earn less than 185% of the poverty level qualify for free and reduced-price meals (FRM). However, an application must be completed and submitted each school year to receive that benefit. The application for the 2026-27 school year will be available this summer.

If you have a current balance and think you may be eligible for free and reduced-price meals, please fill out the FRM application for the 2025-26 school year.
