 A Celebration of the Seasons
Our talented strings students in grades 4–6 delighted the audience last Friday night with A Celebration of the Seasons, performing a variety of pieces inspired by the beauty and spirit of each season. The concert concluded on a high note with an energetic performance of Uptown Funk that had everyone smiling!
A special thank you to orchestra directors Maribeth Frank and Karen Howell for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to fostering a love of music in our students. Bravo to all of our performers for a wonderful evening of music!
 3rd grade commerce in action!
Students created their own products and services, then sold them to classmates and staff at the Economics Fair using pretend money. This hands-on experience helped them learn important lessons about commerce, trade, and the value of entrepreneurship.
The future of music is bright!
Oakton High School band and strings students inspired our young musicians during a special promotional concert, showcasing their talent, passion, and dedication to the performing arts. Thank you for sharing your gifts and helping students envision their own musical journey ahead.
 Lights, Camera, Action!
Mrs. Penney’s 4th graders brought Virginia history to life by writing, producing, and starring in their very own movie. Through creativity, collaboration, and a deep understanding of the past, these young filmmakers turned learning into an unforgettable experience.
