Senior Walk

Our graduating seniors returned to the halls where their educational journey began, walking through the same corridors they once traveled as elementary students. Our students lined the hallways with cheers, smiles, and admiration, celebrating the accomplishments of those who came before them. It was a meaningful reminder that every journey starts with a first step, and we are proud to have been part of theirs.

A Note From Bailey's Administration

Hi Bailey’s Tigers!

We have officially made it to the last full week of school for the 2025-2026 school year. Our last day of school will be on Wednesday, June 17, which is a two-hour early release with all students dismissing at 1:45 PM. Attendance still counts every single day, so please make sure your child continues to attend as we cross the finish line together!

We are also very excited for our College and Career Spirit Week this week! Tomorrow’s theme is "Your Future Starts Here," so please have your child wear their Bailey's gear or our school colors, orange and blue. You can check out the rest of the week's daily themes below in this newsletter. As an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) school, we are committed to increasing opportunities for our students to experience career and college awareness activities early on. To wrap up our exciting week, our second-grade students will have their Moving Up Celebration this Friday at 3:15 PM on the soccer field. We are so excited to recognize all of their hard work, growth, and wonderful time spent here at Bailey’s Primary. Let's make it a great week!

Optional Summer Learning with Devices at Home

Laptop Graphic

We're committed to providing every student with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive both during the school year and over the summer.

This summer, all students in FCPS will be allowed to check out a technology device that will support continued growth.  This will ensure continued access to tools such as ST Math, Lexia and Benchmark Universe that allow students to work at their own pace and level. Programs like these adapt to each child's needs, providing extra support in areas where they're building skills and advancing them when they're ready for more challenges. This opportunity will allow students to continue their personalized learning at home, to develop digital literacies and important routines around managing their technology.

If you would like this opportunity for your child, please complete this Google Form.

You will then receive confirmation from our School Based Technology Specialist, Nicole Sandrowicz.

Have questions? Please contact Nicole Sandrowicz on Talking Points or through email at nesandrowicz@fcps.edu.

Calendar Survey

FCPS values your input as we plan future school calendars. On Friday, June 5, all caregivers and FCPS staff will receive an email from noreply@fcps.edu containing a unique link to complete the FCPS Calendar Survey.

Your feedback matters. Please take a few minutes to share your priorities and perspectives by Monday, June 22, at 11:59 p.m.

Your individual responses will be kept confidential and will not be shared with school staff or used in any way that identifies you or your student. Only aggregate, summary-level results will be reported to the Fairfax County School Board.

If you do not receive a link to the survey or have technical difficulties completing the survey, please contact the FCPS Office of Research and Program Evaluation.
