A Message from the Principal

Greetings Bryant Families!

We are incredibly excited to celebrate with our Seniors tomorrow, June 1, during our graduation ceremony at 5:00 pm! Please note that we do have regular school tomorrow for our underclassmen, but students will be dismissed early at 10:30 am so our staff can prepare for the evening's festivities. As a quick reminder, if your Senior has not yet turned in their school laptop and charger, please make sure they bring both to the ceremony along with the cap and gown they received after Friday's graduation practice.

Looking ahead, please save the date for a Parent/Guardian meeting and snacks with Ms. Conley on Tuesday, June 9 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bryant High School. This event will be a wonderful opportunity for you to provide feedback about Bryant and hear about our plans for the upcoming school year. For families who are unable to make it to the school in person, we will also provide a live Zoom option so everyone can participate. We truly hope you will be able to join us for this event!

Take Care!

Cindy Conley

Principal

Bryant HS Information

5th Quarter

This summer, Bryant will again offer “5th Quarter,” an extension of our school year providing extra time and support for students to bring their grades up to passing. We will also offer targeted review sessions for students preparing for SOL and WorkKeys assessments. Attendance is highly encouraged for the entire session, especially for students working toward an August graduation.

The program runs Tuesday through Friday from June 22 to July 17, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will all be provided at no cost. For more information regarding the program, please email Iris Stubblefield.

School Board Adopts Fiscal Year 2027 Approved Budget

On May 21, the Fairfax County School Board unanimously adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Approved Budget, continuing FCPS’ commitment to sustaining excellence by prioritizing competitive compensation and strategic investments that support student success.

The adopted budget reflects the division’s ongoing efforts to navigate a challenging fiscal environment shaped in part by chronic state underfunding and economic uncertainty. Despite these challenges, the budget maintains key investments and restores several reductions made during the prior fiscal year. Read about the FY 2027 Budget.
