Stronger Together
Dear Clearview Families,
What a wonderful "week" at school we've had. Even though students were only with us for two days, those days were filled with learning, laughter, and memorable moments across Clearview.
As we head into the final few weeks of the school year, we are excited for all that is ahead. Between now and our last day of school on June 17, our students will continue engaging in meaningful learning while also enjoying many special activities and celebrations that help us wrap up another successful school year together.
We are grateful for the support of our families and community members who help make these experiences possible. If you are interested in volunteering for any of our upcoming events, please contact our front office at 703-708-6000. We would love to have you join us as we celebrate the end of a fantastic year.
Thank you for being an important part of the Clearview Elementary community. We look forward to making these final weeks of school both productive and fun for our students.
Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Monday,
Stephanie Almquist Joshua Redford Rachel Charlton

School Board Adopts Fiscal Year 2027 Approved Budget
On May 21, the Fairfax County School Board unanimously adopted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Approved Budget, continuing FCPS’ commitment to sustaining excellence by prioritizing competitive compensation and strategic investments that support student success.
The adopted budget reflects the division’s ongoing efforts to navigate a challenging fiscal environment shaped in part by chronic state underfunding and economic uncertainty. Despite these challenges, the budget maintains key investments and restores several reductions made during the prior fiscal year. Read about the FY 2027 Budget.

Please Check Your Student’s Lunch Balance
It’s a busy time of year, and we know many priorities are on your plate. As we approach the end of the school year, it is important to check your student’s MySchoolBucks account and pay any remaining school meal balance.
Families who earn less than 185% of the poverty level qualify for free and reduced-price meals (FRM). However, an application must be completed and submitted each school year to receive that benefit. The application for the 2026-27 school year will be available this summer.
If you have a current balance and think you may be eligible for free and reduced-price meals, please fill out the FRM application for the 2025-26 school year.
Lost and Found
This message is to remind you about our school’s lost and found procedures. Please check the lost and found area located in Clearview’s cafeteria as soon as possible to see if your child may be missing a jacket, sweater or even a lunch box.
All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity on Tuesday, June 16th. Thank you for your support!
