PLEASE PICK UP YOUR STUDENT'S MEDICATION ASAP
If your student has any medications or belongings in the Health Room, please pick them up as soon as possible. The Health Room is open from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday, you can call ahead at (703)-295-1112 to confirm availability. If your student's medication is not picked up by a parent or guardian by dismissal (2:00 pm) on the last day of school (June 17th, 2026), the student's medication will be destroyed. Medications cannot be sent home with your student.
If your student will be enrolled in a summer program sponsored by Fairfax County Public Schools, the existing medication authorization form(s) may be used for the summer program, but you will need to pick up the medication on the last day of school and deliver the medication and completed forms to the summer learning site on the first day of the summer program. Please let the health room know if you would like a copy of the form(s).

26-27 Crossfield Band Program
 |
|
Your student is invited to join the 2026-27 Crossfield Band Program! Band is an instrumental music program available to all 5th- and 6th-grade students at Crossfield. Band is a once-a-week course that students will take for the entire school year. Students may receive weekly instruction on flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, or percussion.
Anyone can learn to play an instrument with hard work, practice, and parental support! It will take place during the school day; the exact schedule will be released once the school year begins. We typically perform two concerts: one in the winter and one in the spring, showcasing all the students have achieved throughout the year.

All students entering 7th grade are required to receive one dose of each of the following immunizations prior to the beginning of school: Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis booster (Tdap), Meningococcal vaccine (MenACWY), and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. Students who do not meet this requirement will be unable to start school in the fall.
