🗨️DiBari's Dispatch

Hey Hawk Families–

We are rocking and rolling over here at Hayfield! As you may have seen, we had a busy week full of amazing highlights. We kicked it at the end of last week with our Middle School dance, which was well attended, well decorated, and well behaved. It was fantastic! We moved into a week full of sports where we are celebrating 6 National District Championship teams! Congrats to: Boys and Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Track, Softball and baseball. Well done! Lastly, we had a night of Orchestra where each of our orchestras had an opportunity to have an end of year performance. If you haven’t heard, the Hayfield Chamber Orchestra has been invited to perform at the VA Music Educators Association Conference in November. This is the 2nd time in school history that a Hayfield performing ensemble has been invited to perform at the state conference. Amazing!

I wish you all a restful and dry extended weekend. Don’t forget that there is no school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  It’s a great weekend to double check with your students to make sure they have all of their work completed and turned in as we close out the year.

Have a great weekend…Go Hawks!

The middle school SGA hosted a wonderful 8th grade dance this past Friday, giving students an opportunity to celebrate the end of the year together. Students enjoyed great music, snacks, and time with friends in a fun and positive atmosphere. Thank you to our SGA sponsors for their hard work in planning such a memorable event for our students!
