A Message from Principal Crews
Dear Hollin Meadows School Community,
Thank you for your support, partnership, and care throughout this week. While the events of Wednesday were challenging, the remainder of the week was filled with continued learning in our classrooms and SOL make-up testing as students worked hard and stayed focused.
On Friday, we were also excited to celebrate Hornets who earned Quarter 3 Perfect Attendance which is a wonderful accomplishment that reflects dedication, perseverance, and commitment to learning.
As always, the safety and wellbeing of our students remain our highest priority, and we hope every family knows how deeply we value and care for our school community. Thank you for the kindness, patience, and encouragement you continue to show our students and staff.
We hope everyone enjoys a restful Memorial Day and a meaningful Eid holiday on Wednesday for those celebrating.
With appreciation,
Jasibi Crews
Principal

Lunch Balance
Please Check Your Student’s Lunch Balance
It’s a busy time of year, and we know many priorities are on your plate. As we approach the end of the school year, it is important to check your student’s MySchoolBucks account and pay any remaining school meal balance.
Free and Reduced-Price Meals
Families who earn less than 185% of the poverty level qualify for free and reduced-price meals (FRM). However, an application must be completed and submitted each school year to receive that benefit. The application for the 2026-27 school year will be available this summer.
If you have a current balance and think you may be eligible for free and reduced-price meals, please fill out the FRM application for the 2025-26 school year.
