Green Team Collage

We welcomed adorable new baby quail and cheered on our fluffy ducklings as they learned to swim. Plus, meet "Mr. Green" the new Green Team mascot ready!

TC Families,

With May winding down, we wanted to take a quick opportunity to celebrate the fantastic dedication and effort our students have shown during the recent testing window. They have shown true resilience, and we are incredibly grateful to our wonderful families for everything you do at home to keep them energized, rested, and motivated.

🌟 A Special Thanks to Our PTA!

We also want to give a massive shout-out and a huge thank you to our amazing PTA for putting together this week's PTA Variety Show! It was an incredible evening showcasing the immense talent, creativity, and bravery of our students. Events like this wouldn't be possible without the countless hours of dedication from our PTA volunteers. Scroll down to the PTA News section of this message to see some wonderful pictures from the event!

Retirements

⏰ Reminder: Help Us Celebrate Mrs. Fairchild & Mr. Hy!

As we prepare to say a bittersweet farewell to our two Terra Centre legends, Mrs. Fairchild (29 years of teaching at TCES) and Mr. Hy (TC Building Supervisor with 20 years in FCPS and 16 years at TCES), we want to make sure every family has a chance to show their appreciation.

We are collecting cards, favorite memories, and well-wishes from both current and former families to honor their incredible dedication to the TC Tigers.

📬 How to Contribute (Due by June 1)

  • Drop-off: Bring physical cards or notes to the main office.

  • Email: Send your digital well-wishes to Mrs. Ehrman at mrehrman@fcps.edu.

Deadline: Please submit all notes and cards by Monday, June 1 so we can package them together for their retirement celebrations.
