Principals' Message
Hello White Oaks Community,
We officially have only two full weeks left of the school year! It is hard to believe how quickly this year has flown by.
As we look ahead, we are beginning the process of forming our classes for the upcoming school year. This is a highly structured, thoughtful process that we take very seriously, as it is essential to our students' success. Class placements are a foundational part of building a thriving learning community. Our goal is to create well-balanced classrooms and find the best possible teacher-student match by carefully considering each child’s unique strengths, personality, and needs.
If you have insights you would like us to consider during this process, please take a few moments to answer the questions below.
Important Note Regarding Teacher Requests: To ensure balanced classrooms and accommodate annual staffing shifts (such as teachers changing grade levels), we are unable to honor requests for specific teachers. Instead, the most valuable information you can share is your child's specific academic, social, or behavioral needs.
Completing the Parent Input for Class Placement is entirely optional. If you choose to provide input, please submit it by June 1. Thank you so much for your continued partnership and support!
Parent Input for Class Placement
On Wednesday, our community was treated to two spectacular band concerts, featuring both a daytime assembly and an evening performance. The incredible talent of the White Oaks band was on full display, and it was truly impressive to hear how much these students have accomplished. A huge thank you and kudos to Ms. Stratil for her dedication to supporting our young musicians!
Finally, we hope you all have a wonderful long weekend; as a reminder, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are all student holidays. We look forward to seeing everyone back in the building on Thursday!
Have a great weekend!
Melanie, Neena, & Josh
