Message from the President
Hello everyone!
As a BIG THANK YOU to our FABULOUS FHS teachers and staff, the PTSA hospitality team hosted the annual Teacher / Staff Appreciation Lunch last Monday. The luncheon spread and the gift basket/gift card raffles were a tremendous success! Everything looked beautiful and the food was delicious. We hope the FHS Team members were able to enjoy the festivities as the school year wraps up!!! The PTSA would like to thank our Awesome volunteers, Trader Joe's Fairfax for donating the exquisite flowers,Whole Foods Vienna for their generous in-kind food donation and the Sign-up Genius Families who donated towards the event. A Special Shout-Out to Ms. Sophea for offering up your "vision" for the event that us volunteers were happy to execute with you hand-in-hand!!!
We are down to the last few weeks of planning for All Night Grad! We need volunteers for the event. Any parent can help, we aren’t looking just for senior parents, this could be a great opportunity to see what it is all about for when your student is a senior! We NEED all the help we can get as the St. James REQUIRES us to have chaperones/volunteers on site and helping out. If you’ve always wanted to try your hand (see what I did there?) at dealing Black Jack or Texas Hold’em, this is your time to shine!!!! Volunteers for All Night Grad!! The next meeting is May 19 at 8 pm in the school library.
We are starting to plan for the next school year, if you have any ideas for the PTSA please let me know! If you have any questions about what the PTSA does or how you can help, please feel free to email me at President@FairfaxPTSA.org
