The Liberty Ledger
Mr. LaBrie, Liberty Band Director, and Ms. Hall, CVHS Band Director, perform together at the CVHS Jazz Cat Café.
It has been another wonderful week at Liberty! Reflecting on this past week, it was truly uplifting to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week. Our school staff work incredibly hard, and I want to extend a huge thank you to our PTA for collaborating with us to recognize our staff in so many fun and creative ways. Your support makes a world of difference for our team and highlights what a supportive community we have here.
We are now officially in the swing of SOL testing season. I know this time of year can feel a bit busy, but our goal is to keep things as calm and routine as possible for our students. SOL scores will be available for you to view in the Test History tab of ParentVUE. Please keep in mind that these results do not post instantly. It can take several days for the data to process and travel through the system to show up on your end. We appreciate your patience around this.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for sharing your children with us each day. I am grateful to be part of the Liberty community.

Information About Retakes
Middle school students who do not pass a spring SOL test can try again before the school year ends. A parent or guardian must give permission for any student to take a retest. The deadline to submit this permission is May 15.
If you choose not to allow a retest, it will not hurt your student's grade or school record.
If you want your student to have a second chance to take the test, please sign up using the Parent Digital Consent website. You will use your SIS ParentVUE login for this. If you do not have an account, contact Amber Wickstrom for a paper copy of the form.
