Raccoon Run 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run
The Raccoon Run 5K and 1 mile fun run is fast approaching! Race Day is May 9 with the 1 mile fun run kicking off at 8am. The race starts and ends at Mantua ES.

Mantua ES Spring Dance

Mantua Strings Instrument
Petting Zoo
Calling all 3rd graders! Are you interested in joining strings next year? Would you like a chance to try out the different instruments before deciding which one you would like to learn?
Come to the Mantua cafeteria on Tuesday, May 19th from 6:30-7:30 PM.
Day Violins will be available to answer questions about the instruments, as well as let you try them out. We hope to see you there!

2026 International Math Kangaroo Competition @ Mantua: Results
Congratulations to all the Mantua ES students who took part in the 29th annual Math Kangaroo International Math Competition at Mantua in March!
This year’s top scorers at Mantua ES in each grade level are Adrian Lee (1st grade); Elena Savarese (2nd grade); Isabel Benavides (3rd grade); Tessa Kamath (4th grade), whose score ranked 1st in the nation and state; Charlotte Reid (5th grade); and James Zhou (6th grade), whose score ranked 4th in the nation and 3rd in the state.
Thanks to the Mantua PTA for sponsoring the competition and all the administrators and volunteers who helped make it happen!
Art Department Spring Volunteers Needed
The Mantua Art Department is looking for volunteers to help prep materials for 4th Quarter art projects across all grade levels. We also need help organizing the supply closet so we can begin putting together our order for next school year's art supplies.
If you have any time to spare we would love to have you! No experience necessary.

👟 Join Us for Movement Mondays 🏃
We are looking forward to having our families and students come join us for some walking/jogging around the track on Monday mornings. Everyone is welcome! Rocky Raccoon also loves this, so he let us know that he will be making lots of appearances on those days as well.
- When: Mondays through June 15th
- Times: 8:30 AM - 9:05 AM (we will send the students to their classes at 9:05!)
Movement Monday is cancelled in inclement weather.
