Dear Sleepy Hollow School Community,
I hope this message finds you well. As we move into our spring testing season, I wanted to take a moment to connect and share both encouragement and appreciation for our entire school community.
Our students have been working hard all year, building skills, confidence, and perseverance. State and district assessments are one way for them to show what they’ve learned, but more importantly, they are an opportunity for students to practice focus, resilience, and pride in their effort. We are proud of the growth we see every day in our classrooms.
During this time, your support at home makes a meaningful difference. Simple routines such as ensuring a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and arriving to school on time help students feel prepared and confident. Encouraging words and reassurance can go a long way in helping children approach testing with a positive mindset.
Here at school, our staff is committed to creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable and ready to do their best. We are emphasizing that effort matters most, and we are celebrating each student’s hard work along the way.
We encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to support your child during this time.
Thank you, as always, for your partnership and trust. Together, we continue to create a caring and encouraging environment where every student can succeed.
With appreciation,
Principal Vega
