Big News for Our GBE Community!
We are incredibly proud to share that the Greenbriar East Elementary PTA (GBE PTA) has been named a Finalist for Fairfax County PTA of the Year and a Finalist for Impact PTA of the Year in the state of Virginia!
This recognition celebrates the heart of what makes our GBE PTA special: community. It reflects the collective efforts of our families, staff, volunteers, and partners who show up, pitch in, and believe in what’s possible when we work together.
Speaking of our amazing community, we are also very proud to recognize finalists for the following Fairfax County PTA awards:
- Katie Smallwood – Staff Award
- Meghan Neff – Volunteer of the Year Award
- Phuong Nguyen – Volunteer of the Year Award
GBE PTA has focused on building connections, supporting students and staff, and creating memorable experiences that strengthen pride in GBE from emboldening beloved traditions to embracing new ideas and new moments that bring our community together. Being recognized at both the county and state levels is a powerful affirmation of that shared commitment and impact. This honor belongs to YOU our families, teachers, staff, volunteers, and supporters. Thank you for giving your time, energy, ideas, and heart to Greenbriar East.
