Chantilly Academy Program Highlights

FFA Students Rock the Regional Competition!

We were proud to have FFA members from our Veterinary Science program represent Chantilly Academy last week at the FFA Regional competition for Veterinary Assisting. Students put their knowledge and hands-on training from the classroom on display during the competition. Competitors were evaluated on a wide range of skills including animal handling and restraint, sanitation and clinic safety procedures, medical terminology, and client communication. Students demonstrated their critical thinking skills as they completed practical scenarios similar to those encountered in veterinary clinics.

A special congratulations to Eli C., who earned 1st place overall in the competition for the second year in a row! We are incredibly proud of the entire team for representing our Veterinary Science program and FFA chapter. Many thanks to Mrs. Antonucci and Mrs. Spinetto for providing such great training and instruction to our students and accompanying them on this exciting competition!
