Sra. Meeker’s students proudly showcased their learning at the Global Action Showcase, celebrating the Global Classroom Project and the global leaders of Fairfax County. Through this project, they explored and compared plants and animals in Virginia and Sollentuna, Sweden, building curiosity, respect, and a deeper care for nature.
Hi Bailey’s Tigers!
We have arrived at the first week of May, which means it is Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so incredibly appreciative of our teachers and staff for everything they do to support our students and community on a daily basis. Please join us in thanking them for the heart and hard work they put into serving our Tigers every single day.
In addition to celebrating our staff, we are excited to share the final round of field trips for the school year! Kindergarten and first grade will be heading to Shlagel Farms to pick fresh strawberries, where they will enjoy hands-on learning and a taste of farm life. Second grade will visit Colvin Run Mill to explore history in action and see how a working mill operates. Our Pre-K, PAC, and PS classes will also enjoy a fun and educational trip to Frying Pan Farm Park to experience farm animals and outdoor learning adventures. Please check the specific dates listed below in the newsletter to make sure you know exactly when your child will be heading out on their trip.
As we enter this final stretch of the year, it is so important for students to attend school every day. Please make sure our Tigers are ready to go each morning—doors open at 8:45 AM and we want to see everyone there! Let's make it a great week of appreciation and exploration.
