Paw Prints: Updates from Dr. Grove

Dear Wolftrap Families,

As we turn the calendar page, there is a distinct energy buzzing through our hallways. We are entering a season of showcases—a time where our students get to demonstrate the incredible growth they’ve achieved since August. Wolfies have AMAZING TALENT AND HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH!

📝State Testing: One Week to Go: SOL testing officially kicks off next week. While we know these assessments are just one measure, we want our students to feel confident and prepared. You can help us set them up for success by ensuring they get plenty of rest, a hearty breakfast, and a prompt arrival to school. Thank you for your support!

📺 New in the Cafe: The Cafe TV: If you've walked through the cafeteria recently, you may have noticed a television hanging on the wall. This is more than just a screen, we hope it will be a hub for student life. We are currently brainstorming the best ways to utilize this space and would love to hear your thoughts. Some ideas currently on the table include:

  • Student Shout-outs: Celebrating birthdays, academic "wins," and acts of kindness.
  • Wolfie Pics Photos and videos from our various activities.
  • Trivia & Polls: Interactive questions to engage students during their break.

Stay tuned for more information.

🎨 A Masterpiece in the Hallway: Before you head out after your next visit, please take a moment to admire the Madison Pyramid Art Show boards located in the front hall. The creativity on display is truly breathtaking. It’s a wonderful reminder of the vibrant artistic community we share with our feeder schools, and I am so proud of our young artists for their hard work and vision.

Reminder: class placement form is open until Wednesday. To share your input, please complete the 2026-2027 Class Placement Form. The form will remain active until Wednesday  at 5:00 PM. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Let’s make this upcoming week a great one!
