Roadrunner Roundup

Dear Roadrunner Families,

Another successful week of learning in the books! We have truly enjoyed some days of wonderful weather and the opportunity it provided for our students to spend some extra time learning and playing outdoors.

As we enjoy this spring season, please take a moment to check our Lost and Found, which is currently overflowing with water bottles and sweatshirts. We have included pictures below to help you identify any missing items. If you would like to look through the collection in person, please check in at the front office. Please note that any unclaimed items will be donated on May 8th.

As we prepare for the next school year, we invite you to share academic or behavioral insights via our Parent Input Google Form to help us create balanced classrooms. Please note that specific teacher requests cannot be honored. Deadline: May 8th.

Finally, our PTA needs your support to make this year’s Staff Appreciation Week (May 4th-8th) a success! Please see the information below for details on how you can help us celebrate our amazing educators at Little Run!

Sincerely,

Christie Yarn, Principal
Alison Butler, Assistant Principal

Celebrating New Chapters

As we approach the end of the school year, we want to take a moment to acknowledge some of our staff members who will be moving on to new adventures and opportunities next year.

We wish the very best to Ms. Raney (1st Grade), Mr. Arrington (5th Grade), Mr. Blake (6th Grade), Ms. Maenz (Librarian), and Ms. Sanchez (Kindergarten IA) as they pursue the next steps in their professional and personal journeys. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and care they have poured into our students, and they will always have a home here at Little Run.

In the coming weeks, we look forward to introducing the new faces that will be joining the Little Run family this fall!

  • Pro Tip: We’ve checked every single one of these items for names, and they’re all anonymous! Help us out by labeling inside tags so we can get lost gear back to your student immediately.

2026-2027 Class Placement Information - Parent Input

As the end of the school year approaches, we are already looking ahead to next year. Our school team spends significant time creating heterogeneous classrooms with a balanced mix of academic needs, social dynamics, and student strengths.

Our Placement Process & Parent Input
We believe that a successful classroom is built on instructional criteria and the individual needs of every student. To ensure this process remains fair and consistent for all families, we cannot honor requests for specific teachers.

It is far more valuable for you to share specific academic or behavioral information rather than a name. Your insight, combined with our staff’s recommendations, helps us find the best environment for your child’s success.

Submission Details

If you have pertinent information to support your child’s placement, please complete the Parent Input Google Form. Deadline: May 8, 2026.
