Principal's Message
Chesterbrook has had a lot to celebrate this month with our students shining in All County Chorus festival and Science Olympiad both held on April 18th. We end the month showcasing the hard work of our Musical Theatre cast and crew. Staff, Cast and crew along with so many parent volunteers have put in a lot of work to make this come to reality and we are excited to light up the stage for opening night this Wednesday. For the first time, our students will enjoy an assembly of the show which will serve as a dress rehearsal for our talented performers.
The weather has allowed us to see a wonderful rise in walkers and bikers. We would love to see our numbers increase if our older students are in walking/biking distance and feel safe in utilizing this healthy way to get to school. Bike racks can be found by the flag pole and gym.
As SOLs begin next week, please ensure your students get a good night's rest and breakfast in the morning. The best thing we can do is encourage our students to do their very best and share what they know. We ask you to avoid appointments that pull your child out on these days, as this then alters their testing environment when they cannot take it with their classmates.
Wishing everyone a great week!
Sincerely,
Stacy Kirkpatrick Principal
