Dear Frost Middle School Families,

First and foremost, on behalf of the Frost Middle School PTA, I want to extend our sincere gratitude to all of you who continue to support our school community. Whether you have volunteered your time, donated resources, attended events, or simply encouraged your children and teachers; your involvement makes a meaningful difference. Your commitment helps create the strong, supportive environment that makes Frost such a special place. 

Our PTA has always thrived because of parent involvement. However, as we look ahead to the remainder of the school year, we are facing an urgent need for volunteers, particularly parents willing to step into lead roles for several important upcoming events.

At this time, we do not yet have leads for several key activities, including:

  • Teacher Appreciation Week 🍎
  • Bingo Night 🎉
  • 8th Grade Celebration 🎓
  • Bus Driver Appreciation 🚌
  • Additional end-of-year events and committees

These are some of the most meaningful traditions at Frost Middle School, events that celebrate our teachers, recognize our students, and build community connections. Unfortunately, without parent leaders to organize and coordinate these efforts, these events may not be possible.

We understand that everyone is balancing busy schedules, work, and family responsibilities. It is easy for all of us to assume that "someone else" will step forward. As PTA President, I feel it is important to share transparently that we are currently in a position where we may not be able to host some of these events without additional volunteer leadership.

The good news is you will not be doing this alone. The PTA board will support you, provide guidance, share past plans, and help recruit additional volunteers. Many of these events already have established templates, making leadership roles very manageable and rewarding.

Leading an event is also one of the most impactful ways to:

  • Support teachers and staff
  • Celebrate students
  • Build friendships with other parents
  • Strengthen the Frost community

If you are able to help lead, or even co-lead, one of these efforts, we would be incredibly grateful. Even a small team of two or three parents can make a huge difference.

Please consider stepping forward and joining us in continuing these meaningful traditions for our students and staff.

Join the PTA Today! 

Thank you to many who joined and others who stepped up to volunteer. As we begin our 2025-2026 school year, we invite you to make a difference for our students and teachers at Frost Middle School through Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) membership.  

PTA Family Memberships are $25. Funds from PTA memberships and donations are used in support of the Frost PTA initiatives, including our staff Grant Program. Your dollars will go directly to programs that enrich the experience of students, families, and staff here at Frost. Family membership also includes access to the Frost online student directory. Every parent/guardian who signs up for PTA membership automatically gets included in the student directory, unless you choose to opt your student out.

🪩 7th Grade Dance Party!

Calling all 7th graders! It’s time to trade the textbooks for the dance floor. Frost Middle School is hosting an after-school dance party that you won't want to miss.

The Details:

  • When: April 28th

  • Time: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM

  • Entry Fee: $5
