Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a growing part of our daily lives—from asking Siri a question to receiving personalized video recommendations on YouTube. As AI continues to shape how we live, learn, and connect, children and adults need to understand how it works. To support our families in exploring this topic, we are having a brief and informative virtual workshop to explore what AI is, how it works (at home and at school), and why it matters. Join us through Zoom on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:00pm.

Mrs. Stafford (pictured) and Ms. Hibbitts had a great time preparing our All-County Chorus students for their performance recently at Lake Braddock SS.
It is time to start planning for our next school year. Developing class assignments each year is a complex process. School administration, classroom teachers, counselors, special education staff and specialists all have the opportunity to provide feedback on class groupings.
If you have feedback that you would like for us to consider, please add it to this Family Input Form no later than May 1, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. We will consider all feedback provided, but we are not always able to fulfill requests.
We respectfully ask that you do not request particular teachers. It is unfair to give special consideration to some families when it would be impossible to grant requests from all families. Please be aware that grade level assignments for staff sometimes change, due to late enrollments or other changes. Staff assignments are determined at the end of the summer.

Our amazing PTA organized a Parents/Teachers Night Out last week. It was fun relaxing and spending time with Principle Prindle, Bruce Easmunt our PTA President, and many other parents and teachers who do so much for our students and our school community.
We are excited to announce a Hygiene Drive sponsored by the SCA, running from April 13th through May 8th. We are seeking donations of essential items, including shampoo and conditioner, body wash or bar soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and laundry detergent.
