A Message from the PTA President
Dear Hunt Valley Families,
This is the last call for nominations for next year’s PTA Board positions. Please email valerieparr11387@gmail.com by the end of the day, Friday, to nominate yourself or someone else you think would be a great PTA leader. The Nominations Committee will report the nominees at our PTA meeting next week (Tuesday) and our elections will be held during May’s meeting. Please join these virtual meetings, if you’re able.
Thank you to Cub Scout Pack 1853 for inviting me to their recent meeting, as a local elected leader. You all were so much fun to talk with and I really enjoyed hearing, from a student’s perspective, what PTA means to you. We discussed how elections in the PTA work, what kinds of activities PTA helps with, and why I chose to volunteer my time. My favorite question had to have been “Can you get an ice cream machine in the cafeteria?”. I fear the Cub Scouts think I have much more sway than I do, but I do promise to make sure there’s an awesome dessert truck selling treats at the Spring Festival!
As always, if you have questions, please reach out to President@huntvalleypta.org or info@huntvalleypta.org.
Sincerely,
Kacie Jones Hunt Valley PTA President

Thanks also goes to the HVES family who generously donated mulch to help us make the school a beautiful place for our students!
