Level 1 Dental Careers students visited the Northern Virginia Community College Medical Education Campus in Springfield to learn about the Dental Hygiene program they offer. Students toured the campus and were able to view the NOVA Restorative Dental Clinic with patients from the community.
Disaster preparedness is a fundamental skill for EMS professionals. Therefore, the Falls Church Academy EMT students spent a week with Fairfax County CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) to learn the basic skills needed of incident command, triage, fire suppression, light search and rescue and disaster medical operations. As always, Falls Church Academy is grateful for the volunteer commitment of CERT to provide this experience for our students.
