Northern Virginia Family Services invites you to participate in a psychoeducational workshop for parents and caregivers of children who receive academic support or have special needs. During this workshop, we will discuss:
- the emotional impact on families
- the stigma associated with special education
- strategies for supporting children at home and at school
- the importance of having a support network.
It will be an opportunity to receive useful information, resolve doubts, and strengthen family resources in an environment of respect and learning. Supporting a child also means having support. Your participation can make a significant difference in this process.
