 Dear Wolftrap Families,
Welcome back! Our FIRST Annual Spring Day of Service is happening April 15th!! (That’s next week!)
Important Note on LINKS: Some grade-level service project WISH lists have already hit capacity! If your child’s specific grade level is full, please check the other grade level links below (especially our littlest Wolfies in our preschool class!!!). We want every student who wants to help to have a place to shine.*You can find our wishlists on the Wolftrap website, linked here.
We now start the road to the end of the year and the growing excitement of many upcoming activities. As we look toward the upcoming school year, we want to offer you the opportunity to provide optional feedback regarding your child’s classroom placement for next year. Your perspective provides helpful insight into your child’s strengths, learning style, and the environment in which they thrive.
To share your input, please complete the 2026-2027 Class Placement Form. The form will open this Wednesday, April 8th, and will remain active until Wednesday, April 29th at 5:00 PM.
As you complete this form, please keep the following in mind:
-
Placement Logic: With our small grade-level sizes, we must balance our numbers, as possible. Consequently, we cannot guarantee specific teacher or peer requests. *Please be aware that based on current staffing allocations, it is increasingly and highly likely that we will have two second-grade classes for the upcoming year. Small grade-level sizes make our ability to move students very limited once classes are finalized.
-
Focus on the Student: This form is intended to highlight your child's unique needs. Please do not use it to request or evaluate specific teachers.
-
Individual Forms: Please remember to submit a separate form for each child attending Wolftrap.
We appreciate you working alongside us to ensure every student is set up for success! If I can answer any questions about this process, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
Dr. Maggie Grove, Principal
Ms. Megan Tipton, Assistant Principal
